What should you expect when you visit our worship service? First of all, you can expect a warm welcome. We truly do consider you our honored guest and will strive to treat you as such. We want to make you feel comfortable and at ease among us. You can also expect to hear plain Bible preaching. Anything else would be a waste of the purpose for which we have come together. Among the Corinthians Paul said that he used “great plainness of speech” (2 Corinthians 2:13) and we strive to do the same. How foolish it would be for you to go away wondering what we believe and teach and what the preacher meant! Consider also that it is the Bible that our preaching will be based upon. Everything we teach will be founded upon scripture. If you find any discrepancy, we hope that you will bring it to our attention. You will also find us willing to answer any question that you might have about beliefs and practices or any other Bible matter for which you are searching for an answer. Many churches are offended by questions concerning their doctrine and practice, but we in fact welcome such. Since we believe that truth is the source of our hope (John 8:32) and realize that truth has nothing to fear from examination, we believe that the cause of Christ is wonderfully served by inquires and investigation. Finally, you will find simple and scriptural worship. Our worship is intended to please God rather than entertain man and so all that we do is governed by the word of God (Col. 3:17). For example, our song service is congregational in nature: that is, everyone is urged to participate who can sing the sentiments of the songs with the spirit and understanding (1Cor. 14:15; Eph. 5:19). We do not have soloists, choirs or choruses to “perform” - worshipers of God are not merely to be spectators but are to be participants. If you are interested in simply serving God according to His will, we believe this is the place for you. Our ultimate goal is to go to heaven and help others get there, too.

What You Will Hear

God tells us that "All men have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God". God also tell us that “the wages of sin is death”. If this is the case what then what must I do to be saved? HEAR   An individual must first hear the gospel before they can respond... Romans 10:17 So then faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" Luke 8:18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."   BELIEVE Having heard the message, it must be believed... John 8:24 I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins." Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.   REPENT Believing the message of Christ, we turn toward a new life... Luke 13:3-5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them--do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." Acts 17:30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 2 Cor. 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.   CONFESS We confess our belief in Jesus Christ as the one who saves us... Matthew 10:32 "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven". Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.   BE BAPTIZED Having confessed our faith in Christ we join in His death, burial, and resurrection... Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
